Crazy Hands for Art is now on TUESDAYS

We will meet a famous artist, learning about their journey and techniques, through a PowerPoint presentation, and visuals. “What do you see?”, “What does this art piece make you feel?”, “What does this painting remind you of?” These are some of the questions that guide our group discussion before we start painting. One specific piece is chosen to be reinterpreted by each student, mixing the artist’s technique with the children’s unique vision. As an added bonus we expand our Spanish vocabulary with a few key words related to the artist covered each class. Materials are included. FOR AGES 9 – 12
